GENERAL INFO
Crystal molds have many long, deep points the can trap air bubbles when resin is poured. A toothpick can be used to GENTLY move bubbles from the surface of the mold to allow them to rise to the surface. Degassing bubbles can also become stuck to sides if resin is not allowed to degas completely before pouring into mold. I recommend using a good casting resin in molds for long work times to allow maximum bubble release for clearer castings.
